I read with interest the report of Cruz-Correa and colleagues (

). They described three cases of collagenous colitis with mucosal tears on endoscopic insufflation and stated that as far as they were aware there were no reports in other gastrointestinal diseases. We would like to present the case of a similar mucosal tear on endoscopic insufflation in a patient with diversion colitis.
