The colonoscopy showed multiple ulcerations separated by normal mucosa involving the ileocaecal valve (fig 1) and ascending colon (fig 2). These endoscopic lesions may be seen in Crohn’s disease, tuberculosis, amyloidosis, infectious disease, etc.
