We thank Dr Fu and colleagues for their interest in our paper using narrow band imaging (NBI) for detection of adenomas in patients with HNPCC. In our study NBI detected a significantly greater proportion of flat (JRSC II, equivalent to Paris 0–II1 2) adenomas.
