Food regurgitators with an abnormal electrogastrogram (EGG) had significantly higher oesophageal acid exposure than those with a normal EGG (*p<0.05). There were no significant differences in lower oesophageal sphincter measurements between food regurgitation patients with a normal and abnormal EGG.
