Abstract
A monozygous female twin pair discordant for dermatitis herpetiformis and concordant for gluten-sensitive enteropathy is reported. The diagnosis of dermatitis herpetiformis was verified by demonstrating granular IgA deposits in the uninvolved skin. Glutensensitive enteropathy was confirmed according to the ESPGAN criteria. Monozygosity was proved by the standard genetic characteristics.
