      The absence of such data modifiers prevents determining whether these tumor characteristics play a prognostic factor in outcome. Precancerous conditions such as ulcerative colitis and familial polyposis are also not reported in the SEER database [33–36]. However, due to the rarity of pediatric solid tumors of the lower gastrointestinal tract, a better database is unlikely to exist.
