Selective modulation of T-cell responses in autoimmunity and cancer

Immunol Today. 1996 Feb;17(2):54-5. doi: 10.1016/0167-5699(96)80577-9.

Abstract

Autoreactive T cells are a feature of the normal immune repertoire and can be involved either in prevention or promotion of immunopathology. As discussed at a recent workshop, understanding the nature of this balance is an essential step in developing relevant clinical strategies.
