The authors of Guidelines for the management of iron deficiency anaemia (Gut2000;46(suppl IV)) would like to correct an error they made. In section 2.2, second paragraph, the wrong unit was used for ferritin. Instead of μg/dl, it should have been μg/l (or ng/ml). The authors apologise for any confusion this may have caused.
