Radiographic enteroclysis showed multiple large duodenal and jejunoileal diverticula (fig 1). The proximal small intestine was found to have normal resorptive capacities suggested by a normal d-xylose test while intestinal bacterial overgrowth was indicated by a H2 breath test with glucose.
