We thank Kaur et al1 for their valuable comments on our three-dimensional bioprinted hepatorganoids (3DP-HO) published in Gut.2 We have read with care all the concerns raised by Kaur et al1 and acknowledge the great contributions of Ghosh et al 3 to the field of 3D in vitro tumour cell cultures. We would like to discuss the issues in detail as below.
