The main aim of our study was to assess the neoplastic risk in a cohort of autoimmune gastritis (AIG) patients in whom we excluded previous or current Helicobacter pylori infection.3
In a recent retrospective clinico-pathological report, Miceli et al studied a cohort of 270 AIG.4 A 19-year follow-up in these patients did not document any incidental gastric cancer (GC).
