Indication criteria for endoscopic mucosal resection
| Early gastric cancer meeting all of the following: |
| (1) Well or moderately differentiated type adenocarcinoma |
| (2) Superficial, elevated, or depressed macroscopic appearance (types I, IIa, IIc) |
| (3) No ulceration |
| (4) Diameter <30 mm |
| (5) No apparent invasive findings |
