Total RNA was extracted from tissue samples by guanidinium-phenol-chloroform method as described in Methods. One microgram of total RNA was reverse transcribed using random hexamers and amplified by polymerase chain reaction using specific primers for PPARγ. The reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction products were electrophoresed on an ethidium bromide containing agarose gel. | |||||||||
