Spearman’s rank correlation coefficients (r) between whole gut lavage fluid-specific IgA and the three peripheral blood responses measured: antibody-secreting cell (ASC) responses, antibody concentration in lymphocyte supernatant (ALS) responses and specific IgA concentration in serum (Serology). For colonisation factor antigen (CFA/I), responses were compared following administration of ACAM2010 to 17 volunteers; for coli surface antigens CS1, CS2 and CS3, responses were compared following administration of vaccines 2007 or 2017 to 20 volunteers.
