*In 132 (3%) cases, use of benzodiazepine was not recorded. In four cases, both midazolam and diazepam were recorded as being administered during the course of a single ERCP. Among procedures performed using benzodiazipine, 4724 of 5039 (94%) involved coadministration of an opioid.
