Mice were given probiotics (LGG at 5×108 bacteria, Culturelle and B infantis at 1:500th capsule) for 3 days before irradiation with 12 Gy and killed at 84 h after irradiation. Jejunal crypt survival was assessed by bromodeoxyuridine incorporation. Mean±SEM crypt survival is presented as normalised to PBS control. p Value is compared with PBS control.
