Gene expression of nNOS splice variants (nNOSα and nNOSβ) and iNOS was measured in control, BB-DP and BB-DPH rats of 70 and 220 days (n=6) by the use of real-time reverse transcriptase PCR. Data were normalised to the housekeeping gene, hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase and expressed as fold change. Data in this table represent the fold change of BB-DP and BB-DPH rats, which is compared with a fold change of one in control rats.
