2018, International Journal of Surgery OpenCitation Excerpt :The current study agreed with other studies that Choledocholithiasis is a significant problem that increases with age, especially in those patients who present with gall bladder disease, and such a condition should be considered before planning or embarking on surgical treatment. It was found that all patients who had CBD stone pre-operatively (Group I) or those who develop post-operatively complications and CBD stone identified via MRCP or ERCP in (Group II) included in the age group (46–55) and (56–65) [10–12]. It was found that patients, who had CBD stone pre-operatively (Group I) or those who developed post-operative complications and CBD stone identified via MRCP or ERCP in (Group II), had a previous history of dark colour urine or history of previous biliary colic.
