Twelve of 25 studies reported the presence of extrahepatic disease in 0–93.3% of patients (median = 45%) [14,16,17,20,21,25,26,29,31,34–36]. The median duration of follow up was recorded in ten studies, ranging from 11.8 months to 79 months (median = 18.5 months) [14,17,19,20,23,24,31,33,34,37] (Table 1).
